DNC hits GOP presidential hopefuls with robocalls on possibility of future shutdown

The Democratic National Committee launched three more robocalls
hitting potential Republican presidential contenders for expressing
openness to shutting down the government again in order to dismantle
ObamaCare.
The robocalls are targeting Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Ted Cruz
(R-Texas) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.), all of whom have indicated an interest
in running for president in 2016.
They're launching along with a standalone website, GOPPleaseStop.com, where the DNC will aggregate video, tweets and other content from GOP lawmakers who indicate they're open to another shutdown to take down ObamaCare.
Both Rubio and Cruz have signaled an openness to again attempting to dismantle ObamaCare when Congress hits its next deadline to pass a government funding measure, in January.
Paul, however, has previously said he didn't think shutting down the government over the law was a good idea.
The robocall running against Rubio charge that he was "an architect of the strategy that shut down our government and took us to the brink of economic collapse."
"Marco Rubio's shutdown cost our economy $24 billion dollars and his refusal to pay our nation’s bills risked raising mortgage rates, crashing the stock market and even put Social Security payments at risk," the robocall says.
"And now Rubio is signaling that he’s willing to do it all again in a few months."
It urges listeners to call his office and tell him to "please stop."All three of the senators opposed the deal that ultimately ended the shutdown, with Cruz citing ObamaCare as primary reason, while Paul said his opposition was due to the fact the deal didn't tackle the deficit. Rubio cited both issues.
The DNC used their no-votes in a recent fundraising pitch that asked supporters, "Do you think these guys should be president?"
