VIDEO: Jon Stewart Slams GOP for Playing ‘Blame Game’ Over Government Shutdown

 “Own it. Don’t fart and point at the dog”

John Stewart blasted the GOP on Tuesday night’s Daily Show for playing the ‘blame game’ over the federal government shutdown. 
The Daily Show host blamed Republicans for the lack of ownership over federal defunding emphasizing that the “party of personal responsibility ain’t taken none”.
Instead, the GOP has continuously pointed the finger at President Obama, the Democratic party and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as responsible for the shutdown, rather than acknowledging its own culpability.  
“It’s not their shutdown – they didn’t do it. They blame OJ. OJ did it”, he said.
“You think Obamacare is a big enough threat to this country that you have to shut down the government over it,” Stewart said. “Fine. Own it. Don’t fart and point at the dog.”
