This, once again, unfortunately, shows the ignorance of such so-called journalists and TV professionals but also the ignorance of those that watch such TV channels.

One can but assume that some US politicians are about of the same caliber when one considers that Sarah Palin did not know that Africa was a continent and has also a great lack of knowledge in other fields. They, more than likely, get much of their information from the same source, namely Murdoch’s Fox News.

Many ordinary Americans also suffer from the same or similar lack of knowledge as could be seen when the US embarked on its illegal war in Afghanistan. It was only good that the military leaders knew where the country was and could, more or less, read a map otherwise it might be Germany which would be under constant drone attacks, for that is where many placed Afghanistan.

It is sad to see how the education system and the media fail the American people but then again both the education system and the media have become but a propaganda tool for the governments and the powers-that-be, and that not only in the United States.

And the people, in the US, as well as other countries, have become so brainwashed by the education system and the media’s government propaganda that they believe everything as true that their countries’ media spews forth and believe that alternative sources are just lies even if they speak the truth.

Their government would never lie to them they firmly believe and if they would be doing anything bad against them the government would tell in the media. This is no joke; they seriously believe that.

No wonder that we are in the state that we are in when people are so brainwashed and have been conditioned not to think for themselves but to believe everything that the media spews forth.
