Pat Robertson Says Parents Of Gay Kids Should Suspect Molestation
Pat Robertson shouldn’t be allowed out of the house these days, much
less on television to spew his crap, but, allowed he is, and boy is his
latest bit a doozy. He was preaching away from his throne over at the 700 Club on
his favorite topic of homosexuality, when a viewer called in, asking
what to do about a 16- year- old gay son. Robertson said:
At least, in the end, Robertson told the viewer to be “understanding” and not to “write him off” (referencing the gay son). So, at least we won’t have another homeless youth at the hands of Pat Robertson. That’s something, I guess.

Is there really a biological thing going on? Or has he been influenced, has a coach molested him? Now, we all know how absolutely offensive and over the line it is to equate homosexuality with molestation or anything of the sort, but leave it to Pat Robertson to do just that. But, of course, even after that, Robertson wasn’t finished. He continued:
These kids are in a formative state. And sure, they may have some attractions to people of the same sex. I mean, they don’t know what they’re doing, they’re teenagers. So, they go for the opposite sex. Some are attracted to one another. But there are a lot of things that happen. So, instead of just accepting that some kids are gay and that parents need to accept that, you’re telling your confused, frightened viewer this hogwash? Go right ahead, make more hostile homes for gay kids, Uncle Pat.
At least, in the end, Robertson told the viewer to be “understanding” and not to “write him off” (referencing the gay son). So, at least we won’t have another homeless youth at the hands of Pat Robertson. That’s something, I guess.
